I've read it

So far I've read all nine books from the SookieStackhouse Series (or Southern Vampire Series) by Charlaine Harris and I'm waiting for the next one to come out in October which is short stories and a tenth book in May of next year. Also I've read all six books from the Morganville Vampire Series by Rachel Caine and the next one is coming out in November. I'm currently reading The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants by Ann Brashares. So far I'm half-way through and it's a good book. I've never seen the movie.

Last week

I was on vacation last week. My mom came to visit from out of state. We went to the zoo on Monday, the lake on Tuesday and then also visited the History Museum. We also bought a playground set for the kids. I will post some pictures later. X starts school next Friday and new TV starts soon. I'm on my last episode of Dead Like Me. I love that show! On September 10th, Supernatural comes back and Vampire Diaries starts. Looking forward to it.

TV - What would I do without you?

During the summer there is really nothing to watch on TV. But this year I have been catching up on some shows either online or borrowing some shows from friends.

So far this summer I've watched three seasons of Supernatural. Which is a great show. The fifth season is starting on Thursday, September 10th on the CW. I had seen the show on and off the first few seasons. I really got into it last season and that's why I borrowed the first three seasons from my sister-in-law. In case you've never seen the show it is about two brothers, Dean and Sam Winchester that go around the country dealing with supernatural things like ghosts, vampires and demons.

Another great summer show is True Blood. I've read all the Southern Vampire Series books that the show is based on. The show started last summer on HBO and it is on it's second season this summer with a third season already re-newed for next summer. This show is about a waitress named SookieStackhouse that is a t…

End of Summer

It is already a week into August and it feels like it is the end of summer. I go to the stores and see back to school supplies and fall stuff too. I don't even want to start thinking about holidays yet. First Halloween, which I really have to think about because I'm making the kids' costumes. O is going to be a witch, I'm just going to make her a simple black dress to wear and big enough so she can wear some warm clothes underneath. X is going to be a pirate so I have to figure out what I'm going to do for him. The Renaissance Festival is coming up too. We are planning on going this year with both kids. We did that last year and they had a lot of fun. We bought X a shield last year with a dragon on it and the year before a sword. So we'll probably get him something this year too. Maybe we'll get O a sword too. Then after Halloween we'll have Thanksgiving. And Christmas, which I am really NOT ready for. I'm too busy right now thinking a…

My little boy is starting kindergarten this year. His first day is September 2nd and he's super excited. His last day at daycare is next Thursday. It is so hard to believe that he is old enough to be going to school. It seems like just yesterday he was born and a little baby I held in my arms. Now he is an opinionated 5 year old little boy. So this is my first year buying school supplies and thinking about packing lunches. I really don't know what to expect. I mean it's one thing on you're the one going to school but it's another when you're the parent of that child. I am also worried about how it will be for O going to daycare by herself. She loves her big brother and has never been apart from him since she was born. I'm sure she will miss him terribly. Although there are days when they do not get along and I'm sure wish they were not together. I am taking the day off of work when he starts school. I will probably take a million pictures …
