Supernatural - Mannequin 3: Reckoning

Sorry for the delay.  Snow day yesterday and I really wasn't online much.

Sam recovers from whatever it was and he's fine.  They go to investigate two deaths.  One is of a security guard killed at a school by an anatomy dummy.  The other is a guy working at a mannequin factory and gets killed by faceless mannequins.  Both kind of creepy.  They figure out that a girl is missing and try to find a connection.  She worked at the factory (like everyone else in town) and three guys played a prank on her and got her killed.  The last guy is saved when Sam finds her body and burns the bones.  He thinks that he's stopped her but he hadn't.  She kills the guy in his apartment by possessing a creepy "girlfriend" mannequin.  So Sam talks to the girl's sister to see if she has something of hers.  Turns out she has a kidney that she got when she was 16.  It's the  kidney that is keeping the ghost around.  So Sam and Dean try to figure out what to do and the ghost takes over the Impala.  Dean gets chased and the sister ends up getting stabbed by flying glass and dies along with the ghost.

Also in this episode, Dean keeps getting calls from Lisa.  He finally answers and it's Ben telling her something is wrong with Lisa and that she won't leave her room and he needs to come over.  So that is how Sam ends up on this case by himself.  Dean goes expecting the worst only to find Lisa is going a on a date.  She's moved one.  They have a heart to heart and she tells him she can't wait for him.  Ben tells Dean he's being an idiot and that he doesn't care about family at all.  So Dean leaves them.

Supernatural - Unforgiven

Good episode and many black and white flashback that Sam is having.

The episode starts out with Sam getting a text of some coordinates.  Turns out it's for Bristol, RI and there are some missing girls there.  So with some reluctance from Dean, they decide to go.  Turns out Sam and Samuel were there a year before and some people died in the hands of Sam and he beat up a cop.  Of course Sam doesn't quite remember all that but he does get deja vu when they get into town.  They figure out it's something called Arachne and that all the women taken were ones that Sam slept with.  Sam checks out things with police and the officer that he beat up puts him in jail.  Dean talks to the missing person's roommate and sees a business card that was Sam's.  While Sam is in jail the sheriff's (he died a year ago) wife talks to him.  Apparently him and Samuel told the sheriff and his wife the truth that they are hunters and that way they would help them.  He convinces her to let him out so he can catch this thing.

We find out through a flashback that Sam and Samuel used the Sheriff as bait to catch Arachne.  They follow her to an abandoned warehouse where several men are uncased in webs and Sam decapitates Arachne.  He then tells Samuel that the men will die anyways and so he puts them out of their misery, including the Sheriff and shoots them all.  Then he burns the warehouse down.  And that's the end of that but not really.

Turns out the men that were in the webs were not poisoned but turned into arachne and one of them is the Sheriff and he's out to get Sam.  They fight and the wife is there and finds out what Sam did.  All ends well, except at the end Sam collapses in a seizure of some sort.  We see him burning in hell in the cage.  Looks like the wall has come down.

X's Dragon

X was asking me to make him a dinosaur.  Well I searched for one and actually found a cool dragon that I liked even better.  X said he would actually like a dragon better.  He's really into How to Train Your Dragon, the movie, the books and the toys.  So I found a pattern through Ravelry, here it is.  I used some yarn I already had on hand and for the eyes I used a bracelet that I had that got broken.

Supernatural - Like a Virgin

I was looking forward to watching this episode a week earlier.  I liked the episode.

Dean & Bobby are waiting for Sam to wake up.  Apparently he hadn't woken up and they were worried.  But same does wake up and he doesn't remember anything.  The last thing he remembers is being Lucifer's meat suit and falling in the cage.  So Dean just tells him that he's been gone for 1.5 years and leaves it at that.  Of course Sam has questions for him.  Bobby is nervous around Sam because he tried killing him so he won't really talk to him.  Dean & Bobby are going on a hunting job and Sam wants to go so Bobby hangs back.  Turns out something is kidnapping virgin girls.  They figure out that it is a Dragon once one of the girls doesn't get taken because she was wearing a purity ring but really wasn't a virgin.  So that's how they get a description.  Dean calls Bobby and he sends him to a woman to find out how to kill the Dragon.  While Dean is gone, Sam calls on Castiel and kind of tricks him into telling him everything.  So now Sam knows.  Dean finds the woman and turns out she has a romantic past with Bobby.  She tells him that to kill a dragon you need a special blade forged from dragon's blood.  She happens to have one in her basement stuck in a rock like Excalibur.  Dean of course tries to pull it out with dramatic music and all but he can't do it.  So  he decides to blow up the rock and in the process part of the blade.  So now they know they have to get pretty close to the dragon.  Sam has figured out that the dragon is in a sewer tunnel and that's where they head.  They find a bunch of girls, fight several dragons, kill a couple of them and one gets away.  The girls are saved.

Bobby finds a book about dragon lore and virgins and they are used to open a portal into Purgatory and summons something.  So now we meet the new villain, Mother, which had been mentioned by the Alpha Vampire a while ago.

Fallen Series

I had heard about this Series from several book blogs and decided to check it out for myself.  I'm so glad I did.  I picked up the first book in the series, Fallen by Lauren Kate on Monday and I had it read by Wednesday night.  It was a total page turner and I could not get enough of it.  It is about a girl named Lucinda (Luce) Price that is drawn to a mysterious boy named Daniel Grigori.  She feels like she knows him but cannot recall from where.  He ignores her every chance he gets.  I like how you are kept guessing about what/who Daniel is and what has happened in Luce's past.  By the end of the book I wanted to pick up the next one and start reading.  There are four books planned in the series.

Fallen (12/08/09)
Torment (9/28/10)
Passion (6/14/11)
Fallen
Rapture (Spring 2012)
