Busy, busy

I was just looking at my calendar and the month of June is super busy.  X's birthday is tomorrow and he's turning 6.  Hard to believe that my baby is that old.  I have to bake some cupcakes tonight for him to bring to his class.  Luckily he has a small class of only 14 students so that means we'll have leftovers for us.  Then Saturday is his family birthday party.  I have to clean, clean, clean on Friday.  Monday is his school's project night.  I get to see what's he's been working on this last quarter.  Wednesday he has his annual check up at the doctor's.  Thursday is his last day of school and kindergartners are doing a program so I took the day off to go watch plus it's early release so he can spend the afternoon with me.  Then on the 12th we have a family picnic in the morning and then at 2pm is his friends birthday party.  Softball starts on Monday June 14th and that goes until the end of July, which means Mondays and Wednesdays until then will be busy.  Then also Tuesdays will be busy since swimming lessons begin on the 15th and that goes for 10 week.  Both kids will be taking swim lessons again and luckily O will be by herself this year which means I get to catch up on my reading.  :)  Then wouldn't you know it Father's Day is on the 20th which is also Dan's cousin's graduation party.  Dan is doing summer school too so again busy.  Hopefully the month of July won't be quite so busy.

I've been reading a lot.  I was waiting for a couple of books from the library and so I decided to re-read the Twilight series since Eclipse comes out on June 30th.  Woo hoo only 3 more weeks!  Although I'm not going opening night but hopefully I can go shortly after.  I'm excited!  Other than that movie nothing else looks too appealing.  Prince of Persia looks good but I probably won't get a chance to see it in theaters.  Also Sex and the City 2 is already out in theaters.  Toy Story 3 comes out June 18th and we might take the kids to see that.  Andy is all grown up and going to college.  Weird to think that the first toy story movie came out so long ago. That sure makes me feel old.

I got X's pikachu and pokeball done and will be giving them to him tomorrow. I found a great place with tons of pokemon crochet patterns.  I'll post some pictures of them.  I also have a few projects I want to work on however not much time.  Sometimes I'd rather read or watch TV than pull out my sewing machine or crochet hooks and work on projects.
