This was a great conclusion to Miranda's story.  I love that C.C. Hunter focused a trilogy on each of the main characters.  First we had Kylie and her struggles with finding out who she was.  Then Dellla and oh how much I love Della.  Her struggles with love and her new powers.  Now Miranda with a love triangle, her new sister and possible new powers.  I love all the characters in the series.  I loved the ending.  I feel though that even though graduation happened we haven't seen the last of these characters.  I would love to see what life is like for them as they enter the workforce beyond college.

I had previously read the first story.  I loved seeing how Chase became a vampire.  And what he was like as a human.  We had heard his story in Della's After Dark Series but it was nice to see things from his point of view.  Also learning more about Miranda and her family.  Seeing Miranda as more than a witch that can't control her powers.  Also Fredericka, the were we met in Kylie's Series.  We see her background and see another side of her.

Sometimes I wanted to smack Della and sometimes I wanted to smack Chase.  And sometimes I just wanted to smack both of them at the same time.  This book was everything I expected and more.  I absolutely love Della.  Although I still say there need to be at least one book about Burnett and what he was like as a young vampire.  I love all the characters in this series and I really hope that there are more coming!

I absolutely love Della and I'm so glad that she has her own series.  I love her attitude and that she's actually such a softie on the inside.  Chase is a tough vampire to figure out.  It's obvious he cares about Della but he has his secrets.  There was plenty of Burnett to make me happy and I love the interaction between Della and Burnett.  The tension between the FRU and the Vampire Council is intriguing.  I can't wait to see what happens next, especially with how the book ended.

I loved the Shadow Falls series with the chameleon Kylie and her story ended and I was so glad to hear there would be a spin-off series.  And Della has got to be one of my favorite characters at Shadow Falls, next to Burnett who I really want to learn more about.  Della is a small girl with a who is tougher than she looks and very fiesty.  There is a new vampire at camp named Chase and he seems familiar to Della.  Also Della is trying to find out more about her family even though her father never talks to her and her whole family is so disappointed in her.  This book had my interest to the end and especially the end.  Can't wait to read the next book.

Camp resident Della Tsang, who’s still coming into her own vampire powers, is assigned to help find those responsible.  If she succeeds, maybe she’ll even land her dream job: working for the F.R.U., the enforcers of the supernatural world.  But when she sees her new partner is a hunky shapeshifter, things get complicated.  Steve, too gorgeous to be trusted and capable of seeing through her tough-as-nails exterior, knows just how to get under her skin.  And only hours into the mission, Della realizes rogue vampires aren’t the only threat she’s facing.  If she’s ever going to complete her assignment, she’ll need his help…but learning to trust him will be her hardest challenge yet.

First of all, I love Della and I love that this is the second Novella featuring Della.  I love the sexual tension with Della and the shapeshifter Steve.  They are both on a missing for F.R.U., which is Della’s dream job and she does not want to screw it up.  The story was short but I love that we got to know Della a little more and her tough shell was a cracked a little bit.  I hope that we can follow Della and Steve’s story a little more in the next Shadowfalls novel.

As if life isn’t hard enough, she starts getting visits from the ghost of Holiday, her closest confidante.  Trouble is, Holiday isn’t dead…not yet anyway.  Now Kylie must race to save one of her own from an unseen danger before it’s too late—all while trying to stop her relationship with Lucas from slipping away forever.   In a world of constant confusion, there’s only one thing Kylie knows for sure.  Change is inevitable and all things must come to an end…maybe even her time at Shadow Falls.

 I thought this was by far the best book so far in this series.  Kylie finally finds out what she is but even knowing that she still has many questions.  The only people that can help her are her Grandfather and Great Aunt but they are so afraid of the FRU that they refuse to openly come to Shadow Falls.  Lucas is very distant due to him trying to get on the Council.  He basically pushes Kylie away so that he looks good with his pack.  Kylie needs someone to rely on that someone is Derek.  He is not afraid to help her with her ghost problem and anything else she needs.  I love that we get to see Kylie develep all sorts of abilities.  I love Della and Miranda.  I wish we could get a little more story of Holiday and Burnett.  Also Burnett starts dealing with some new abilities.  I really enjoyed this book.

This ebook is available for free at Amazon, which was great since I have an e-reader and I love free books.  I am so glad I read this short story.  This book is about how Della became a vampire and all the things she went through.  I love that we got to see a side of Della we have never seen before, not so badass.  Also got to meet her cousin Chan and her former boyfriend Lee.  I would love to see another short story on Miranda or possibly Holly and what happened between her and the vampire.

We meet some of Kylie's family and we finally find out what Kylie is.  Although we have to wait for the next book to really understand what she is.  The aftermath of her healing her friend Sarah occurs although Kylie won't admit it to Sarah that she healed her.  Her boy trouble continues although Kylie does make a decision.  I love Holly and Burnett and I'm so glad there were in it as much as they were.  We also meet a few ghosts.  I can't wait to see what else in in store for Kylie.

This is starting to be one of my new favorite series.  The books picks up right where the last one left off.  Kylie is still at Shadow Falls and she still (or anyone for that matter) does not know what she is.  Although she develops some new abilities, which could point to some supernatural being.  She's still seeing ghosts, although Daniel (her biological father) is not there as much.  She also has boy problems.  Derek is still there but she still has feelings for Lucas, who is not there.  Trey is also still calling her and her best friend Sarah hasn't called her.  Also she keeps feeling someone watching her.  I like how we find out more about Kylie and her new abilities.  Her friends, Miranda (a witch) and Della (a vampire) are also interesting.  I do really want to learn more about Lucas though.  Also I love how you get a little bit on the relationships with adults (Holly & Burnett).  I can't wait to read the next book.

I love the whole concept of a camp for Supernatural beings.  I know it's not a new concept (Camp Half-Blood and I'm sure there's others).  Shadow Falls is an interesting place were all Supernaturals have to learn to get along and the Government funds it.  We see Vampires, Werewolves, Shape-shifters, Fae & Witches.  Kylie though is a mystery since no one, including herself, knows what she is.  She is in denial most of the book saying that she's just a human and some kind of mistake is made.  I love how we watch her accept herself and those she had a first deemed to be "freaks".   The ending is left open so that I will definitely be picking up the second book.
